He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Minco and attended Mustang Church of God.He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home sons, Rodney Crim of Newcastle and John Boyle of El Reno daughters, Melissa Miller of Tuttle, Staci Dennis of Union City and Jennifer Walker of Ogallala, Neb. Crim was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Sheriff and Peace Officers Association. He retired from the Canadian County Sheriff’s Department in 2017. Crim worked in law enforcement throughout his life, including the El Reno Police Department and the U.S. He served as mayor of Minco for one term. He was born June 30, 1950, in Oklahoma City.
